It’s been eight months in the making, but boy was it worth it! Link Flat Nats, held between September 12–13, was a Subaru-only event like no other, and had Manfeild Autocourse packed to the brim with burbling, boxer-powered Subarus.

Whether you’re into circuit racing, parking up, cruising the streets, or strapping your big-power monster down to a dyno, Flat Nats had it all. On-track action was packed, with Subarus of all generations taking centre stage, with some rally-spec machines thrown in for good measure. Legacys, WRX STis, and even Subaru SVXs could all be seen cutting laps around Manfeild.

Subaru communities from all over New Zealand united for Flat Nats — Club Sub, Dirty Ol’ BC (DOBC), Gumboot Rally, and members of the national Subaru community were all in attendance.

Link ECU — the naming right sponsors — had their products on display, as did Possum Bourne Motorsport, Detail Depot, and Drew’s Automotive Clutch Specialists. The support and backing received by Flat Nats was huge, showing just how popular Subaru’s boxer-powered vehicles still are within New Zealand’s car-tuning community.

Anyway, enough of the waffling, we’ve uploaded a big gallery of all the action here, which you can check out below!
