Interviewing a high-profile athlete can often be disastrous. Some stars can come across as hesitant and on edge, afraid of not quite thanking all the correct sponsors, or paranoid that the journalist is about to twist their words.

However, this interview with DriftIdiot featuring our own ‘Mad Mike’ Whiddett was far from disastrous. In fact, it's probably one of the most beautiful interviews you'll ever witness, covering all of the important issues, including the Kiwi accent, LS power plants, and The Lord of the Rings.
