Unless you live an extremely sheltered life, you’ll know that nostalgia is an ‘in’ thing for 2015. In an age of Chat Roulette, MyFaceTube, and robotic vacuum cleaners, many crave the simplicity of the past — and for some, it’s their old video games that capture that simplicity best.

Forza 6, the sixth title of the Forza Motorsport series, has tapped into this idea in its latest awesome trailer, by illustrating four decades of evolution in racing games. Starting with Gran Track 10 from 1976, a new Ford GT, the car that also graces the Forza 6 cover, weaves its way through some of the most well-known car games ever released, including Pole Position from 1982, and the original edition of Ridge Racer from 1993.

The kicker? Well that just has to be the song choice. Crank up the volume, and check out the clip below:

Forza 6 TV Commercial "Legacy". Xbox One Exclusive. With the introduction of Forza Motorsport 6, as real as it gets racing, has become a reality. Every pixel and line of code ever written has been leading up to this moment.

Matthew Hansen

Matthew Hansen is the office's resident fresher, though he's exempt from making everyone else customary daily coffees because he's truly terrible at it. Circuit racing is his main squeeze, however he dabbles in everyone else's pies from time to time. He also enjoys long walks on the beach and finding himself.
