Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge: lap record has been hammered again! — The Motorhood

What a morning it was at day two of the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge. After breaking the record on day one of the event, Tim Slade in the MCA Suspension ‘Hammerhead’ has hammered the record again with a 1:22.1920!

Event organizer Ian Baker was in the pits when the action went down, congratulating team members on their impressive run. To give you an idea of just how fast that lap time is, an A1GP car runs a 1:19 around this same circuit.

It's only early in the day though, and Under Suzuki has mentioned that he wants to run a 1:19, so we'll see what the rest of the day brings!
