Daigo Saito is always impressing with his wild builds — he’s built many mental drift machines in the past, including a Lamborghini Murcielago,1000hp R35 GT-R, and more JZX-chassis cars than you can poke a stick at. This time though, we found shots of a Ferrari 599 GTB built by his shop Fat Five Racing.

We’re not sure if this will ignite the fury within Ferrari purists or not, but it does look damn cool completed. Below is an Instagram image by Ryan Lanteigne showing the Ferrari mid build. You’ve really gotta have some balls to cut one up that much, that’s for sure. When more details come to light with this build, we’ll let you know. Check out the gallery!

René Vermeer

Dutch, French, or just a Kiwi, René isn’t quite sure, but he does know he has a passion for Japanese vehicles like no other. A well-seasoned Gran Turismo player dating back to his single-digit days, René has a comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of performance vehicles and has owned more than 30 performance cars here in New Zealand, ranging from Nissans to Hondas. A lover of photography, you’ll find him either peeping under someone’s bonnet to snap a detailed shot, or on the side of the racetrack, perfecting his panning.
