The Classics Museum in the fine city of Hamilton has always been well worth the visit. However, visitors will be treated to a whole lot more, come 28 April, as the venue plays host to the 6th Annual Hamilton Swap Meet! That day sees the car park taken over by the Hamilton Vintage & Classic Car Club, and attendees have the chance to hunt at bargain prices on new and used parts, automotive memorabilia, collectables, models, books, brochures, and all the other good stuff hidden away in people’s sheds. The museum’s indoor conference area will be opened up to stallholders who wish to be under cover, and museum entry will be half price on the day. And for the first time, a classic car and memorabilia auction will be held at 12.30pm! Sites are $10 for private sellers, with commercial sites available for $30 — public entry is just $5, and all children under 15 are free! For more info, or to book a stall, call Richard on 021 205 3863.
